Professional Development
This theme area comprises the following projects during the first twelve-month start-up phase:
- An evaluation of online professional development programs available to African educators, commencing October 2002
- Participation by 100 African teachers in a made-in-Africa online professional development pilot projects.
Global Junior Challenge - 2004 Jan 20
The Global Junior Challenge is a global award promoted by the Digital Youth Consortium, a non-profit organization founded by the Municipality of Rome and six major ICT companies. The intention of the award, dedicated to young people and to schools, is to identify and reward best practices on the use of new technologies in education and training of youngsters. An international jury selects the finalists and the winners are announced during the award ceremony that takes place in Rome, at the Campidoglio City Hall, in Autumn 2004. The participation at the Global Junior Challenge 2004 is simple, you can fill in the form and so you can begin this wonderful adventure
