Curriculum Integration
This conference took place in Grand Mercure Hotel. Over 300 delegates attended it. These included Education Ministry officials, representatives of the European Commission and teachers from schools all over Europe. Also in attendance were Two representatives of Africa, Edward Kigozi (Uganda) and Salimata Sene (Senegal), teachers from Canada, Israel and the Balkan states.
The conference was officially opened on Friday at exactly 2:30 pm with a keynote
address from the director of European SchoolNet, Ulf Lundin. He remarked that
this is the first conference of European School Networks ever. He said that ICT
integration has been done for 10 years now. He mentioned that this conference
was put together by different organizations.
