Structure of Activities:

 

     

 

Each activity is made up of the following parts:

Introduction
Introduces the issues and resources that are investigated in the activity.

What You Need To Do
Describes the task, how it should be approached and what it is intended to achieve. It includes a detailed set of step-by-step instructions on how to complete the task, how to submit it and how to respond to the on-line feedback and discussion that follows.

Resources
Links with the prescribed resources learners should consult for the activity, as well as some optional resources for further reading.

Learning Outcomes
Lists the learning outcomes against which learner progress can be assessed.

Estimated Time
Gives learners a guide as to how long should be spent on each component of the activity.

Moving On
Contains some reflective comments on the activity and indicates how it is linked to the activities that follow.
