About the Course

 

 

 

 

 

A Profile of the Intended Learner:

 

     

 

This course will be aimed - in the first instance - at learners who:

  • Are currently working as, or who intend to work as a technical service centre manager
  • Are reasonably proficient in reading and writing English
  • Have enough computer literacy to use a word processor, Internet and e-mail programs
  • Must be associated with a national Schoolnet organization in Africa
  • Must commit to complete the course over the entire course duration

In order to participate successfully in this course, the learner will need:

  • Access to a computer with a CD-ROM drive
  • Some hard disk space for you to create your own working directory of files for the activities you will be required to complete
  • Internet and e-mail access with your own e-mail address

By the end of the Managing a Technical Service Centre course, the learner will:

Understand, and have the skills and knowledge to implement, the range of activities associated with establishing an effective computer refurbishing centre
